Kolkata Through the Ages: An art event for students of Patha Bhavan School

The SMMF foundation organized this Art Event in collaboration with Patha Bhavan over the month of July. The art event was conceived to showcase Patha Bhavan’s well-known tradition in fine arts, and also the talented students of the school. It is also an event that celebrates the memories of Subhro Mitra, an alumnus, and Uttara Chakraborty, an ex-teacher with multiple intimate connections with the school. One hundred thirty-six students from class V- XII participated in the art event.

The Awardees: Selecting this was not an easy task given the quality of the submitted art. Our Judges (all Patha alumni), were impressed but not surprised by the skill, thought, and effort behind each artwork. They were tasked to select  5  artwork in each of the 3 categories. Please click here to view "The Judges choice" (i.e 5 from each category) . The students in the "The Judges choice" group will receive the "Uttara Memorial Award", worth two thousand INR each.
